It’s all about our obsession with power. We breathe it, think it, feel it,
every single day of our lives. It could be mental, physical, or spiritual.
It could involve manipulation, destruction, or understanding. The list is
endless, but once ‘the question’ is clear, all paths will be realized:
“Is it ‘Power for self’ or the ‘Power to prove self’ that one is after?”
In ‘Folies’, artist Kinda Barazi addresses issues regarding the power of
mature woman, ‘real’ man, children, mother nature -- God, mystery, illusion,
passion, vision, belief, decision, planned anger, un-attachment, patriotism,
survival, and love. Through mixed mediums, including acrylic, oil, and
digital art, the artist attempts to demonstrate in her paintings the ‘power
of expression’!
Folies is her second
